Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions for Buying vehicles from Samurai Auto Imports located in Hawaii. By accepting the services of Samurai Auto Imports, you agree to be bound by and accept these terms and conditions whether you have read them or not.

When a reservation is made, the selected vehicle will be placed on hold. However, we cannot guarantee the purchase of the vehicle until the customer’s payment is completed, our payment to the vehicle owner is finalized, and the contract is concluded.

If the customer decides to cancel the vehicle purchase after payment has been made and the funds have already been transferred to Japan, we will refund the amount after deducting the international transfer fee and administrative costs. If the funds have not yet been transferred to Japan, we will refund the amount after deducting only the expected domestic processing fees.

Samurai Auto Imports will provide an estimated timeframe for when the vehicle will arrive with the customer; however, this may vary significantly due to shipping conditions or weather. Please note that we cannot guarantee against delays.

Once the export process for the purchased vehicle has begun, the cancellation fee will be 100%, and no refund will be issued.

After the customer receives the vehicle, no returns or refunds will be accepted for any reason. However, if the vehicle’s condition clearly differs from the pre-purchase information, we may assist in mediating negotiations with the seller.

Samurai Auto Imports is not responsible for any repairs needed due to part malfunctions after the vehicle purchase. However, we may assist in locating and arranging the shipment of replacement parts from Japan, subject to availability.

Samurai Auto Imports is solely an intermediary, connecting Japanese car dealers and exporters with customers, and does not hold ownership of the vehicles being purchased.

Once a customer purchases a vehicle, ownership is transferred to the customer, and Samurai Auto Imports assumes no responsibility for any rust, damage, or theft that may occur during the shipping process. However, the purchase price of all vehicles may include insurance coverage during transport, and we may assist in communication with the Japanese exporting company if necessary.

Samurai Auto Imports also provides additional services, including vehicle pickup at the port, import paperwork assistance, safety inspection arrangements, and registration processing. However, if the vehicle cannot pass the safety inspection due to reasons such as rust, damage, or theft during transport, we do not assume any responsibility, including for repair costs. In such cases, we will consult with the customer, and necessary repairs will be made at the customer’s expense to ensure final delivery to them.

Our responsibility ends when the vehicle arrives at the port, and we do not assume any liability for incidents, including vehicle damage or theft, that may occur within the port.

Customers must file a claim with the shipping company if a vehicle is damaged or lost during shipping.

Samurai Auto Imports is not responsible for damage caused during shipping or while in storage at the port.
